Depending upon what the action is we can be afraid of being taken advantage of; afraid of looking foolish; afraid of using resources we may need later or afraid of failing. <br /><br />The answer to fear is trusting God's promises and His love for us. We need to trust that doing what God has commanded us to do will result in the outcome He wants, and that what He wants is best for all involved. <br /><br />In some ways it's like Peter walking on the water. If we keep our eyes on Christ we will be okay, but if we get distracted "the wind and the waves" we will sink.<br /><br />You've always been better at the compassionate "thing" than I have Kim.
